First Place
First place went to the very worthy
Make sure you full-view it! This piece is amazing. The skill in the shading and details is extraordinary, but the overall message is also magnificent. I love the stormy waterdrops in the first panel, the perspective in the second, and the delicate use of color in the third. It is a fabulous piece!

Second Place
Second place was awarded to the talented
I love the colors and composition of shapes in this piece. Everything seems to generate a life force of its own in this happy little universe that I could only wish to experience. This picture has just enough realism to be relatable, but enough imagination and wonder to be new, magical, and exciting. It's fantastic!

Third Place(s)
These two artists are so amazing that the judges simply could not choose between them, so third place went to both
This is possibly one of my favorite interpretations of the contest, because it is a wonderland that is attainable to all, although taken for granted by many. Not only does it encompass the greatest wonder of all - love, the simple but invaluable state of complete companionship - but it also incorporates nature and the entire universe, marvels which, to this very day, baffle and excite me as well. The whole piece feels mystical and peaceful. It is absolutely remarkable.

Then last, but certainly not least, we have a second third place winner.
I love that the artist offers no interpretation of this piece. This is his wonderland, and its significance is something entirely personal, but he allows us a share in this perfection through this picture. By not sharing his exact interpretation, the wonderland takes on a more personal significance for the viewer. The title especially aids the imagination. I love the inclusion of [what I imagine to be] the reunited family (right of the tree). This seems a sort of heaven, and it is full if peace and light. Though the surrounding area, the path leading to heaven, may be mysterious and dark, the wonderland itself is beautiful and peaceful. The picture therefore is one of extreme hope, and I adore it.
Don't miss the rest of this artist's wonderful gallery!
Congratulations to all of the winners! I apologize sincerely in the delay for this journal; I was away on vacation and wrote it as soon as possible. Further apologies to the artists that I was incapable of inserting the thumb of their fabulous pieces into my journal. Thank you also to
